About the Role
Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children at all times.
Actively engage in daily activities and routines with children.
Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom
Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
Help ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
Maintain all certifications as required.
Ensure compliance with all North Carolina Department of Human Services and National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) rules and regulations.
Requirements
A high school diploma or its equivalent and one of the following
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent, or must verify enrollment in a program.Â
Verifiable experience working with children Birth to five years, or school age, in a home or center setting.
High Energy
Ability to work well with others and to foster a team environment
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
Strong understanding of child development
Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification
Must clear full background check
Must pass health/TB Screening
